• this was just such a good fic! The balance of drama, tension, romance -- ah! *chef's kiss*
• since it's pretty much novel length (~120k), there's a lot of room for the characters to get developed. while I feel like often times stories tend to prefer one character to another, that doesn't happen here -- both h & m and even their parents ("parents," in haruka's case) are fully fleshed out characters with their own thoughts and motivations. (btw, this fic just has haruka & michiru and the rest of the cast are ocs. none of the other senshi appear and they aren't sailor scouts in this)
• the vibe, romance and humor-wise, is very similar to 90's shoujo anime, like kodocha. like it definitely does have that distinct mid 2000's fanfic feeling to it that is honestly a bit jarring when you read it today, but this is legit a better lesbian romance story than any professionally published book i've read to date! and they just have so much chemistry!! please give it a chance!

• i really like this author's characterizations and writing style, i'd recommend everything by them, honestly! they also have a pretty big range, including fluffy pieces like this, crack fics where, for example, H&M go to Olive Garden or Disney World, and also some major character death fics.
